Did you know that the Alliance Française de St. Louis school is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year?
While our organization dates all the way back to 1906, it wasn’t until 1964 that our school was officially founded by Mme. Estelle Powers. It was then that we cemented our place as the premier French school and Francophone cultural center for the Greater St. Louis - a legacy that endures to this day.
On October 4, you are invited to join us in honoring the past 60 years with a once-in-a-lifetime celebration at the Missouri Athletic Club.
At our Anniversary Bash, you will have the honor of:
Meeting world-famous French artist, Christian Guémy (who painted the beautiful Josephine Baker murals that adorn our walls)
Welcoming the new Chef de Chancellerie de Chicago
Congratulating the recipient of the first Estelle Powers Excellence in Teaching award
Witnessing a knighting ceremony
