You are invited to join us for our next Ciné Club, the French film club of the Alliance Française de St. Louis. We will be watching De nos frères blessés (2020), which was specially picked by la Fédération des Alliance Françaises USA.
Synopsis: Algiers, 1956. Fernand Iveton is arrested in his factory, accused of having planted a bomb. His wife Hélène is now married to a "traitor", but she refuses to abandon Fernand to his fate.
Where to Watch
The last day to watch De nos frères blessés has passed. We hope you join us for our next Ciné Club!
The way it works is once you order the film online, we will send you a link and a unique streaming code to watch the film from the comfort of your own home and on your own schedule. The code is valid through the end of June.
Because our Alliance has to pay for the rights to show each film, and we receive a limited quantity of streaming passes, the modest $2.50 fee helps us cover the costs while ensuring everyone who would like to watch the movie is able to do so!
How to Participate
On July 9, we will meet to discuss the film at the Alliance Française de St. Louis. We will also send you a Zoom link if you prefer to attend the meeting virtually. Please bring a snack - the Alliance will provide some liquid refreshments.
Purchase Your Tickets Online!
To watch the film, simply purchase your tickets online by using the “add to cart” button and checking out. We will email you the streaming code within 24 hours. We will also send you the Zoom credentials for our meeting on Saturday, July 9 at 7:00 PM CDT.
