Ciné Club: Rouge (2020)

  • Alliance Française de St. Louis 930 North McKnight Road St. Louis, MO, 63132 United States (map)

We are BACK with our first in-person French film night since 2020. Please join us for our November Ciné Club where we will be watching Rouge (2020) on the big screen! The film is in French with English subtitles, and a discussion of the film will follow the showing.

This event is free for all Alliance Française de St. Louis members and one guest to attend. Space is strictly limited to 50 people in our "Grande Salle,” so we encourage you to arrive EARLY to ensure you have a seat! In the event that we exceed this capacity, we will have overflow showings in our classrooms. The film will start at 7:00 PM.

Rouge is a 2020 drama directed by Farid Bentoumi, which stars Zita Hanrot, Sami Bouajila, and Céline Sallette. Its story centers around an occupational nurse (Hanrot), who attempts to blow the whistle on toxic waste leaking from a chemical plant. The runtime for the film is 1 hour, 26 minutes.

Bring a snack to enjoy! Popcorn and light refreshments will be provided by the Alliance.
