Join us for a night of French jazz where international jazz vocalist and bassist Janet Evra will be performing her fresh interpretations of French jazz classics by Edith Piaf, Charles Trenet, and Henri Betti and newer hits by Pink Martini and Cyrille Aimee, along with her original compositions.

Returning to Jazz St. Louis, Janet Evra is an international jazz vocalist, bassist, and bandleader from England. Evra tours across the USA and Europe, with recent jazz festival appearances in Romania and Finland. Evra has released three albums as a leader, and her most recent single, "Almost True", features 7x GRAMMY-winner Randy Brecker on trumpet. Evra has also collaborated with GRAMMY-winning jazz musicians Taylor Eigsti, Jeff Coffin, Roy Wooten, Eric Marienthal, and Bob Reynolds and young jazz superstars Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Mohini Dey, Andrea Motis, among others. Evra's music is played on hundreds of radio stations in the USA, UK, France, India, and New Zealand.
