Join us for a delightful culinary experience as our Executive Director, Isabelle, guides you through the art of preparing a Galette des Rois, also known as a King Cake.
This puff pastry cake is typically adorned with a hidden charm (fève) and filled with frangipane, a cream made from sweet almonds, butter, eggs, and sugar. The tradition is that after the cake is cut, the person who finds the fève is crowned King or Queen for the day.
This cooking demonstration and tasting is free to attend for all active Alliance Française de St. Louis members and their guests. You may attend in-person or on Zoom.
In-person attendance is strictly limited to 30 people, and we ask that you please RSVP as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.
