It is bittersweet that we announce the retirement of one of our beloved instructors. Simon Mutombo, aka Papa Simon, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday, has decided to finally retire from teaching at the Alliance Française de St. Louis.

Simon has been teaching at our Alliance Française for over 15 years since he joined us in 2008. Prior to his arrival in the United States, he also taught at the Alliance Française in Nairobi, Kenya.

Please join us for a farewell party on Friday, February 24 at 6:00pm at the Alliance Française de St. Louis. Come help us send Simon off in AF style and show him how much we appreciate his years with us!

Please bring a dish to share and some memories of your time at the Alliance with Simon. We will provide the beverages!
