Meet Our Summer Intern, Titouan!
We are thrilled to introduce our new intern, Titouan, who has recently joined the Alliance Française de Saint Louis team for the summer. With a strong academic background in history, political science, and international cooperation, Titouan brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for promoting France's influence globally. Titouan is the first intern that our Alliance Française has had in many years, and we could not have picked a better candidate to relaunch our internship program.
Titouan was born in the picturesque town of Saint-Malo, Brittany. After completing high school, he pursued a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science at the Catholic Institute of Rennes (ICR). Eager to further his studies, Titouan then enrolled in a Master's degree program in Comparative Politics and International Cooperation, specializing in the Americas, at the University Bordeaux IV (Montesquieu). This specialized program equipped him with a deep understanding of international relations, diplomacy, and the nuances of global politics.
Now, as Titouan embarks on his internship at the Alliance Française de Saint Louis, he enters the final stage of his academic journey, working towards graduation. His previous studies, combined with his personal inclinations, have fueled his aspiration to work for the French diplomatic services or any organization that contributes to enhancing France's influence in the world.
Titouan's commitment to fostering international cooperation and promoting cultural exchange aligns perfectly with the mission of the Alliance Française de St. Louis. With his diverse academic background and strong dedication to France's interests, he brings a fresh perspective and valuable insights to our organization.
During his internship, Titouan will have the opportunity to contribute to various initiatives at the Alliance Française de Saint Louis. His primary focus will be on developing and strengthening partnerships to enhance the Alliance's presence and expand our reach within the local community. Through his efforts, we aim to broaden our impact, attract new members, and foster a deeper appreciation for French culture and language in the St. Louis area.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Titouan is a curious and open-minded individual. He is enthusiastic about exploring new cultures and has already been to his first American rodeo within weeks of visiting the U.S. for the first time. These qualities make him an ideal fit for our organization, where we strive to create an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes cross-cultural understanding.
We are excited to have Titouan as part of our team for the summer, and we ask that you please join us in welcoming him to the Alliance Française de Saint Louis. He is quite recognizable with his dapper mustache, and if you see him around the building, do not be afraid to say bonjour!
