You’re invited to join the Alliance Française de St. Louis as we embark on a captivating journey into history and culture at the Cahokia Holy Family Log Church. Come discover the timeless beauty of this church, a true masterpiece of French colonial architecture dating back to 1786. It's a National Historic Landmark and a window into the oldest continuously active Catholic Parish in the United States, founded by Canadian missionaries in 1699.
Our tour will reveal the church's rich history and architectural marvels. Afterward, indulge in a delightful Cake and Ice Cream Social, the perfect way to cap off this cultural adventure.
This event is free for members of the Alliance Française and first-time non-members. We will depart as a group from the Alliance Française at 2:00 p.m., but you are also welcome to meet us there. The tour will commence at 2:30 p.m.
We hope to see you all there!
