2023 Book Club Schedules are Live!

Is one of your new year's resolutions to read more? If so, then you should definitely join one of the two French book clubs offered at the Alliance Française de St. Louis!

Membership to either (or both) of these book clubs is included for free in your annual membership to the Alliance Française de St. Louis - the only thing that you have to pay for is the book!

Whether you are looking to improve your French reading and comprehension skills or you're a voracious reader of French literature looking to join a group of like-minded Francophones, we know that you will enjoy one of our two book clubs. Les Copains du Mardi

Les Copains du Mardi is our French book club for intermediate (B1) learners of French on up! This book club meets on a specified Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm.

This book club is organized by one of our longtime members, Cindy Marrs. If you are interested in joining les Copains du Mardi, please contact Cindy by email at lbmarrs@gmail.com. Les Copains du Mardi often meets at the Alliance Française de St. Louis but not always. To find out where the next book club is meeting, please email Cindy.

Le Cercle de Lecture

Le Cercle de Lecture is our French book club for advanced to fluent/native speakers of French. This book club meets on the last Thursday of every month at 8:00pm at the Alliance Française de St. Louis and on Zoom. If you are interested in joining this book club, please email our director, Isabelle, at director@alliancestl.org. Books for le Cercle de Lecture may be purchased at the Alliance Française.
