Planned Giving

Leave the Legacy of Language and Culture

There are many ways you can include our Alliance Française in your estate planning. Your gift will help ensure that we can provide educational opportunities for generations to come.

When making a gift, please specify Alliance Française de St. Louis, Tax ID 43-6051570, as the recipient of the gift.

Voltaire Society

If you have made provisions for Alliance Française de St. Louis in your estate plans, thank you. If you let us know about your planned giving, you will become a member of our Voltaire Society, our way of acknowledging those who honor us with a planned gift.

Your planned gift can remain anonymous, or your name can be included in our published list of Voltaire Society Members. Members of the Voltaire Society will receive:

  • Invitations to special events

  • A very special gift currently in development. Stay tuned!

  • The knowledge that your planned giving wishes will be carried out as you intended.

Bequests

Naming AFSTL in your will or trust is a simple way to contribute to our mission.

  • A specific bequest: Designate Alliance Française de St. Louis to receive a specific sum from your estate. You can also leave gifts of real estate, art, and other property.

  • A residual bequest: Designate us to receive a percentage of the remainder of your estate, once all specific bequests have been paid.

  • A contingent bequest: Designate us as an alternative recipient in the event that one of your specific bequests cannot be fulfilled.

Life Insurance & Retirement Accounts

You can also name Alliance Française de St. Louis as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy or retirement account, such as a 401k or IRA.
