Ways To Support Us

Founded in 1964, the Alliance Française de St. Louis is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit French language school and cultural center based in University City, Missouri. For over 50 years, our organization has been able to share our love of French language and culture with the St. Louis community - largely because of support from individuals like you.

Not only does our Alliance Française offer French classes, language certifications, and host French cultural events, but we are also intimately involved in our community. We offer an annual French scholarship to St. Louis-area university students who would like to spend time studying the language abroad in France or other Francophone countries, and we host an annual concours de rédaction (essay contest) to local high school students.

Membership

Your annual membership goes a long way and provides a continuing source of funds to help keep our operations going. Membership to the Alliance Française de St. Louis gives you access to French classes, cultural events, book clubs, our large French library, and more.

French Classes

Members who enroll in classes are the lifeblood of our organization. Classes are also an excellent way to get to know other members and develop a network of friends who share your interests in French language and culture. Enroll in a class for adults or kids today!

Volunteer

Without our volunteers, we could not function. Volunteers run the board of directors, our committees, help staff the office, help maintain and improve our building, and organize our activities - and we have fun doing it! Would you like to volunteer? Contact us today!

Current giving is an important part of our yearly operating budget. We have an annual campaign at the end of each year, but donations are welcome at any time! Merci!

Planned Giving

Planned giving is a way for you to provide a legacy of education and culture. Those who have included Alliance Française de St. Louis in their estate plans become members of the Voltaire Society.

Our sponsorship packages offer an affordable way for your business to reach nearly 10,000 annual website visitors and over 1,600 engaged St. Louisans in our bi-weekly email newsletter.
