Field Trip to Ste. Geneviève (Photos)

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the Alliance Française de St. Louis had the pleasure of spending the day with our friends at the Centre for French Colonial Life in Ste. Geneviève. In the morning, we gathered at the Alliance and carpooled down to Ste. Gen where we toured the museum at the Centre for French Colonial Life and their exhibit on Saving St. Louis (the Battle of Fort San Carlos). We then toured two French colonial houses including the The Louis Bolduc House, their crown jewel.

We would like to thank the Tandy and everyone at the Centre for French Colonial Life for providing us with such incredible tours and fascinating information - we cannot wait to come back! We would also like to thank our friends at the Centre Francophone and Salim Ayoub, PhD and Director of the Centre Francophone, for spending the day with us.

We hope you enjoy some of the photos we took below!
